  Service was quite poor, the lady was so judgemental with our order (how much we ordered). Food was very very average: the steak was quite tough, although juicy. We ordered medium rare, but it was basically borderline rare. Garlic sauce was nice. The seafood entree was nice, juicy prawns and calamari, but it lacked freshness. The seafood chowder was the most appalling. It kinda tasted like a thin, watered down tomato soup. Ambience was nice though, very homely decor and it was nice and quiet (probably coz no one else was there actually). Ive had worse, but I definitely wont be going back.

  Nice venue courtyard just off the street should be wonderful almost romantic Menu reasonably dated but priced ok. 30 for a main Ambience 70/80s feelService pleasant enough but genuine disinterest Sadly most people could cook better at homePrawn dish the creamy sauce had split so oily and horrid and the prawns were barely warmFrozen cooked prawns thawed and tossed into a warm sauce. Was the impression .In the menu they have pictures of what steak should look like rare, medium rare etcHmmm might be a good steak place?Wish the cook could read this and cook accordingly.Ive never had a plank of meat served to me beforeRather stiff rigid and vaguely unappetising T bone Steak looked like a horrid frozen steak thawed and then poorly grilled one side was grey and the other side looked like it had being stewed then put on a grill to get some stripes. Asked for medium rare technically was for the meat one cm from the bone Rest was beyond well done. Mushroom sauce again was horrid . potatoes serving a table spoon worth. Thought my bad day at the office was bad.Salad 2 lettuce leaves little grated carrot …Saved by the good wine list. Which stopped me from sending all the food backPerhaps the pasta might have being a better choice but I wont be coming back
