Staff was very nice and friendly, the waiting time for the food was very long.. the food was alright .. the pouched eggs were not cooked properly and the mushrooms were bitter for some reason .. I wouldnt go again
First time a had a paleo bowl and omg Im transformed! It was so delicious. Ive never tasted anything like it. All the flavours out together were so perfect. And coffee was good too
Came here early on a weekday. Nice friendly service. Coffee was lovely. Food came out promptly. Ordered the Rosemary French Toast with candied banana, macadamias, Creme fraiche and maple syrup. Perfection! I can imagine this place gets packed, but thankfully it was nice & quiet. I look forward to my next visit.
Hey guys, pretty guttered and disappointed with my experience here on Friday morning. I was not greeted by anyone for 10 mins and then was asked to sit at a table nearby (it was just my mum and I). We were not acknowledged for a good 15 minutes until finally someone came and took our order – the place was understaffed but not busy at all. I went to order the kids French toast as I wasnt feeling super hungry, and then was told by the matter-of-fact waitress that I was not allowed to order off the kids menu. -I dont expect to be told I cant order something off a menu due to my age? Im a paying customer. Its ridiculous, we were ordering other meals and drinks too. We then ordered scrambled eggs on whole grain toast, the food came out pretty quickly but it was on sourdough, this is the part that ticked me off the most. The staff thought we would be stupid enough to believe the waitress/chef half-arse tell us it was actually a light whole grain – oh my god, this was 100% sourdough offended they thought we were that stupid! They obviously couldnt be bothered toasting more toast and redoing the eggs. The food was well presented, so thats the star I give for that. Portions were on the smaller side but a good portion for me. Setting is awesome, although there were too many dogs in the cafe barking at each other for 15 minutes straight with the owners and cafe staff doing nothing, so if you like hearing what the person next to you is saying, I wouldnt stick around. Such a shame as I think this place has great potential, but was such a let down on many different levels particularly the below average service.
Was here for brunch on a weekday and the place was pretty busy but not packed. Me and my mate both had our baby with us and one of us had a stroller. This place is not baby friendly at all (elevated floors and no ramps) which is totally fine my friend helped me lift the stroller up and down the steps (it would be nice if the staff helped). We were seated and the staff didnt bother to ask if we wanted high chairs too (I had to ask him which was slightly annoying because I had to look for a staff while carrying my baby). Now onto the food, we had the salad, chai latte and some cabinet sandwiches. Food was average (cafe food) nothing too special the good thing thing was they came out fast so we were out pretty quickly after eating. Also The ambiance is nice a bit fancy for a cafe. Would be back as its handy being close to the beach.
I have been here a few times and think that it is a lovely place to come with family and friends. Its very casual which I like, the food is very tasty. I had the big breakfast and although being tasty I think needs a more mature pallet than my own! Would highly recommend
Lovely caffee to have a bite on a way to the beach or after swim. Good coffee with good pastry. Sunsoaked spot in summer for brunch with good vegetarian options. Kids friendly.
