Friendly staff and one of the best services done in Auckland by any restaurant. The food was extremely tasty and in the right amount. Loved the decor and interesting environment. Its not the typical Asian fusion place you go, its better!
AMAZING. Not only does Mekong Baby innovate new ways to embrace South-East Asian fusion cuisine, but they are also one of the main protagonists in making Ponsonby a foodys haven. Their curries are an absolute sensation. Theyre so rich in flavour, yet interestingly refreshing as well. The one I present to you here is my favourite – the Madras Spicy Chicken Curry with potatoes, aubergine and a fantastic yoghurt that gives an amazing kick. Each spoonful with just the tiniest amount of that yoghurt made my toes curl. Even their lighter options are so sophisticated, Im sure you could make a sensational meal out of them. Their Vietnamese Prawn Rolls (as photographed) are so scrumptious, healthy and totally guilt-free!Their team is super friendly and they have a great atmosphere. Check out this sensation in Ponsonby!
