I usually come here for their cakes and sweets. I haven’t had the chance to try their savoury treats but the customers dining in seem to enjoy their offerings. The chocolate cakes with the thick and rich ganache are decadent and always a joy to eat. The Asian lady behind the counter is always smiling and helpful. She suggests things to enhance your order and she is never pushy. The cakes are packed in plain white boxes and one wonders why they don’t use the boxes with their brand and logo printed on them. Is this something you can consider so people will know where to go for great cakes?

If there was a Great New Zealand Bake Off then the bakers of The Cake Stall would definitely put up a strong claim.Had ordered a double chocolate mousse cake and by golly, was the cake dark cocoa heaven. Rich, flavoursome, and moist, this cake does no wrong and would be a stud at any event.Showstopper: Double Chocolate mousse cakeOverall Grade: A

Came into the shop to buy a lemon cake for my hubby’s birthday, it looked delightful and I was really looking forward to trying it, but unfortunately, was greatly disappointed! The sponge tasted old and like cardboard and the cream icing left a bad back taste in the mouth! Spent $55 for a very disappointing cake and was better off going back to the Cheesecake shop! Sadly a waste of money

Stumbled into this little shop while across the road. I was hoping there would be something that would satisfy me and boy, was I spoiled for choice! Just looking at the cabinet food had me drooling, I didn’t even notice if there was a board menu. Everything looked delicious! I ended up getting a vegetarian brioche which was generous with the toppings and so delicious! Packed full of flavour and seasoned well. I also got the Cinnamon Scroll that was huge and looked just as good. Reasonable prices too each being $4.00. I was eyeing up the chocolate and salted caramel tart which I will have to go back for!

Lovely service and pretty nice atmosphere. The coffee was pretty top notch and the smoothie tasted like ambrosia. Would come back. The cabinet food looked delicious.

Friendly service and the coffee is always good. The cabinet is nicely decorated with cupcakes and tarts. There’s a good selection of both savoury and sweet food and they have a selection of full-sized cakes which are great for birthdays and special occasions!

This is such a cute little cake shop. I came across this place because my family bought a cake in here and mentioned to come back and have lunch or afternoon tea sometime. There are a few tables to sit inside. Had a lovely coffee and a savoury item from the food cabinet. Definately reccommend also for others who love sweet desserts oh and ofcourse cake! – They specialise in making cake to order.
