Wonderful basic kiwi food. Place is a gem with the guy a friendly reminder that we are all leading busy lives. His bakery is always busy and sells out most days so I frequently get a good meat pie there or the occasional donut. Again …Nothing flash but he is next to some rather quite posh eateries and The Thistle serves pretty good prices all can afford. Free parking outside and for a Remuera location that’s really good when I’m in a rush. Try his generous sizes of apple shortcake or banana cake or his old fashioned sausage rolls . Delicious food and something for everyone..including a friendly chat if you have time to enjoy one while you eat..
