We use this for the take-away section where you can pick your own sushi selection and then get it wrapped and go. They have a great selection at a very reasonable price. We are always impressed by the friendly staff and the high and consistent quality of their food offering. Much better that the chains like St. Pierre’s.

June 2015 – eating here one year later from my original review and I absolutely still recommend Asahi in Warkworth, the operators are so friendly and serve wonderfully fresh sushi and tasty Japanese dishes. My other half and I highly recommend Asahi! We are very luck to have you in Warkworth :)My partner and I had a quick sushi lunch here on Saturday (mid June 2014). Really enjoyed the sushi options we selected and the pricing is sharp. We really liked the look of the additional menu (bentos / dons / etc) and will be looking forward to trying out these options some time soon. My partner is not a huge sushi fan, but very much enjoyed his lunch! We did not use the facilities, but certainly the restaurant itself was clean and well presented, lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. We will be back! Thank you Asahi Warkworth – very pleased to have found you!
