Always get amazing service here and the takeaway option is great! Food is just as amazing as the service also. Ginger crunch cage is a great asset to the Helensville community.
Have visited twice now, once for breakfast and once for dessert and both times have been very impressed!The Transville breakfast was fantastic, with good quality ingredients, well prepared and very fresh! The grain bread was a nice alternative as well. Coffee is made well, tastes great and goes very well with a slice from the cabinet. Likely to become our go-to breakfast destination from now on!
A great place to come for a coffee, or a meal if you’re feeling a bit peckish. Lovely food, staff and very very hospitable. Highly recommend, well worth the drive!
Food was yum, boyfriend liked that the sausages were proper sausages. Fast and friendly. Beautiful place. I had the French toast. Little bit more expensive than the cafe on the main road.
Helensville is my wife and I’s favourite stop for a cuppa and something delicious to eat. I love tea and my wife loves coffee and we both love the cakes.Ginger Crunch also have a tasty range of savoury meals too. All at good prices
Been going here for years, new owners have made a few changes to the decor which are a slight improvement, the staff are warm and friendly BUT we won’t be back, they no longer have the all day breakfast menu my husband said his burger was the worst he has had anywhere and did not finish it. My soup was not soup it was some potato, carrot, onion and a little celery boiled up in water, not stock, with some chopped bacon whith pieces of white boiled fat attached and was not hot and tasted like dish water. The coffee was good so if all you want is a coffee then it is OK but I noticed they no longer give the little taste of ginger crunch that always used to accompany the coffee, sorry but a fail for us.
