Awesome atmosphere and nice friendly service, however the food was terrible. Slapped on the plate, food falling from the side. Would have rather spent the $50 on food somewhere else. Very disappointing.
This is the only place in Puhoi where you can relax from your journey. The ambience of the place wonderful, old and it is very beautiful. You will love to sit inside and relax with your friends, admiring the wall and artefacts around you. Food products from the kitchen were kept in the diningroom, that was bit disappointing, coming in the way of your camera.Food is just ok, pre-portion seafood chowder from the freezer just heat it up and it’s on your table.But they lack the human touch in their service. The chef in the kitchen doesn’t know how to talk to the customers. All other staffs lack the sense of humour. Try not to make any jokes with them. They are very grumpy. This really affected the taste of the food in our taste buds.
First time at Puhoi Pub, heard lots about it over the years.We just had a couple of drinks and garlic bread and wedgesWas a nice place to sit outide in the un, plenty of shade and umbrellas etc.looks to be a popular place with bikers,Nice and relaxing and surprised that drinks were cheap at $6 for a tap beer 🙂 Looking forward to going back and maybe stay at hotel one night
I wish I had remembered to take a photo to give evidence to how bad my breakfast was.The quantity and quality of this meal was insulting. I’m not being picky this meal was not only bad but WAY overpriced. For $18 I got four pieces of horrible white toast a sausage and the most pathetically small piece of bacon. The piece of bacon was barely bigger than my little finger. This was not an exaggeration!Dont bother with this.

I have visited the Puhoi Pub for many years now, with family ( some of them locals), friends from all around the place and overseas and also for work-doos. We always have a good time and I have to say I am loving the menu improvements over the last wee while (months? year?); offering more variety/options including pizzas. The food servings are always generous and what you would expect for a good solid PUB environment. Cold beer, some (good!) local wines, quick service and always a great spot for people watching and chillin’ in the sun. Love your work Puhoi Pub, keep it up!
As the others said- its a pub. Cheap drinks, with the very nice surprise of a czech beer on tap. Typical pub grub. It’s usually quite crowded. Best thing about this place is the view.
