We came here last weekend, Saturday, for dinner. Ordered the degustation menu. It’s not like me to give a 1 star, this is actually probably a first for me, but the food was terrible. We kinda got what the chef was trying to do – he seems to be playing with sweet elements into savoury dishes and adding savoury elements into desserts. That much we got, unfortunately, the execution was poor. There was no balance to the flavours, everything was just salty, even the desserts. 1 out of 5 dishes were edible. We were so hungry after. We really wanted to have a nice date and hubby and I were so looking forward to dinner after a day in the rain. The waitress was really nice though, she noticed our food were all barely touched. She did ask for our feedback. Wish we weren’t charged full price but we were. I also wish someone from the kitchen tasted the food and how salty they were. Even the salad. Even the steak. Oh and the flippin’ fish was overly doused with soy sauce.
