This place is magical. If youre looking for a special venue for a nice occasion, this is your place. The decor is rustic with a modern twist. The service is thorough, thoughtful and very hospitable. The menu is creative and thoughtful. Even the simple items i.e. wedges was served with a aioli sauce with a twist. . The charcuterie board was enough for our of 7. I recommend the the feijoa cheesecake and creme brle! Would even go as far to say, have both. I recommend this place for a great experience.
I had the platter and buttermilk fried chicken as a starter followed by the sirloin as my main. Obviously i wasnt by myself….. Unfortunately due to stuffing my face I was unable to get the creme brle that I wanted for desert. The chatuterie was well made, now terrine is not normally for me but that was Devine, the parfait was very rich but when accompanied with the red chutney they balanced each other out. There was a meat butter on there which wasnt to my liking but everyone else loved it! The sirloin was souvied which made it melt in my mouth. It came with a Pinot Gris butter which was definitely different but a great touch to the whole meal. Will have to go back to try the rest of the platters!!
