We have ordered a Black Forest cake from this bakery.The cake looked good, was very light and spongy and was layered with fresh cream but there was no sign of cherries inside which was very disappointing.For the price paid I say it was disappointing.
I popped in to buy a Black Forest cake. They had sold out. The guy behind the counter said when do you need it?….. I said in about 10mins……he said ahhhh no good……I said why?…..he said it takes me half an hour to make it……….I saidok, cool, I will pay now and I will see you in 30min.I came back, it was nicely packaged and ready to go. I give these guys a 5 for service!I spent $40 on a medium Black Forest cake. Getting it home, it wasnt really a Black Forest cake. It was more of a chocolate layered sponge with fresh cream, grated chocolate and brandy glazed cherries on top. It was missing the cherry and kirsch filling.The chocolate cream cake did taste good, the service was really good.
Have not visit this place before 6pm so I don’t know how the service were coz usually I don’t get any service since no one was there front of house. I just grab whatever I want and call for someone at the back. Which I don’t really mind, I like to shop on my own. The quality and flavor of their products are decent, the cheese cake was good my cat liked it… which he was not supposed to but he bit mine when I was watching tv looking away he had no reaction after… is it a good thing? But I have not try anything from their fridges yet. Would like to try some next time. I think they have sale like 3 for $10 when it’s late.
Worst customer experience here. Terrible!!! Very rude!! They will force you to buy. They will say you have to buy this.. We will never go back here.
Stumbled into this bakery looking for a pie. They only had sweet items. PERFECT!!! So so good. Soft, fluffy mini cakes. Had it not been for the cashier and his sour face making us feel uncomfortable and the fact that he heard us walk around and call out to him a couple of times but didn’t come out till 10mins later, I would have given this place a 5.
My cousin likes cake here but i found their pastry, cake are just average. They sell cake an affordable price below $45. Blueberry cake and chocolate cake seems popular.
If it wasn’t for the mochi bread I wouldn’t even dare going back here. Service is sad. You feel like you are doing something wrong for being inside from the cashier’s face. If I find another bakery that got the same products, I will surely not comeback.
