Copper Spot Cafe & Eatery is located on top of the busy Westfield Albany Mall so its easy to find parking with plenty of off-street parking on the weekend. Food was delicious but must say it took waaaay too long. I waited 45 minutes to get my meals – we ordered the chicken salad and the big breakfast. The big breakfast had some parts that were cold and some that were hot. Overall food was delicious but just wouldve been a lot more enjoyable if the wait wasnt as long. We did receive an apology when it arrived which was nice. Service wise, we werent greeted or seated when we arrive until we asked someone as they walked past us.
Copper spot cafe and eatery is amazing smashed avocado on bread and smoked salmon was so nice and their long black was good too. Chocolate almond slice was so heavenly
I was saved to find a designated car park for this cafe after going through fully crowded car parks around nearby eateries.The interior design and layout of this cafe is very distinctive and beautiful. I also like the copper cutlery. My sister enjoyed the kumara cake. She said if the ratio of cream was there more, much better.I found the quiche here is so fluffy and scrumptious I want to come back here for the quiche again.
Finally got the chance to try this cafe in albany for lunch. Nice vibe and decor with copper highlights – hence the name. They serve their dishes with care. Both of our dishes looked beautiful & they taste just as good too. The chicken salad was deceivingly filling, as there was a mount of salad topped with fried shavings on top for a texture contrast. Their coffee is always on point too!
Food was okay. Nice amount of sauce, egg was poached perfectly. Croquette was nice and crunchy. Flavours were a bit too rich and didnt work that well together. Unfortunately, we had to wait a long time for our food and felt quite heavy afterwards. But staff were really nice.
Great caf with a view if youre sitting in the outside area, and the inside area is also cute as well. Located near Albany Westfield, if youre over the crowded cafes close to the mall you should check this place out. There are cute pieces of copper decorations used to emphasise their name. I ordered the eggs benedict with haloumi. Two perfectly poached eggs are placed on top with haloumi served on one side of the plate. The deep fried courgette is yum. The plating is made pretty with some edible flower. But the ingredients didnt complete each other at all when eat together, it was better to eat each ingredient separately, like a deconstructed eggs benedict. So I was a tad disappointed with the food. I did go in for a late lunch like ten minutes before kitchen close so which I didnt realise until I ordered as the majority of tables were occupied. The overall service, atmosphere and coffee is excellent!
