We went there at 3:10pm and there were some people having lunch. No waitress welcoming so asked one of the kitchen staff if the lunch is still available. They said what are you and Break time. So rude.Your front door still has Open sign and it clearly states that your break time starts from 3:30pm. Dont ever make customers feel bad if you hope to grow your business.
Best homestyle Korean! Love love love this place when I’m in the area.I have brought my friends and family many a time, and have left feeling satisfied everytime. Pricewise, it is excellent, considering the quality and portion size of the food. Owner is super nice as well. Overall, a real hidden gem and well worth a try for all lovers of Korean food.
My favourite restaurant in the Rosedale area. I love the King Chicken Katsu and the Pork Back-bone Stew.I often visit this restaurant when I’m in the area with my family. 10/10 would recommend.
The food here is great, filling, and set at a great price. The service was friendly, and handed out many refillable, delicious side dishes that went perfectly with the traditional Korean meals.I don’t usually go to Korean restaurants but this place is great! Recommend Happy Chef, and definitely will go there often.
I think Happy Chef is one of the best Korean reastaurants in Auckland. I have had King pork cutlet ,Spicy chicken soup and Pork BBQ with spicy sauce with rice as well.All dishes were really awesome and nice.The price of most dish was $15.I will go to this reastaurant with friends and family members often.
Most homemade type of restaurant in Auckland I recently tried their new menu- Spicy squid stirfry with noodle which was so yummy and squid was cooked in perfection not overcooked 🙂 side dishes were top notch quality and owners are so friendly. im taking friends over next week which I can’t wait to go back try their soup menu.
