Absolutely love the food there. We had the pork belly ramen and sweet and sour pork. The sweet and sour pork did not look crispy but we were misled by the look. It was actually quite nice. The only disappointment was that they do not serve the tasting box in weekend so we missed out on trying that. Will certainly have to come back and try them on a Friday evening!

I had the tasting box. Really tasty dumplings which hit all the right notes. Friendly staff. Quick service, dumplings came out steaming hot. This place is usually fairly full.

Food: 3/5We got the Tasting Box, which had 5 steam buns and 3 dumplings, all different flavours – such a good idea. The buns and dumplings were okay. Service: 5/5Service is the one of best Ive ever seen. The staff are super nice, friendly and helpful. They made sure to farewell and thank us as we were leaving, which is a lovely gesture.

A nicely decorated restaurant selling traditional Chinese breakfast. I enjoy the ambience of this place over , but I prefer the taste of the latter one more, which is more authentic. The tasting box contains a mix of 5 flavors of buns and 3 flavors of dumplings, which is quite nice. The pork belly bun is quite innovative. And the beef and cheese bun is quite different too. Worth a shot if you like unconventional Chinese food.Food: 7/10Food presentation: 7/10Service: 6/10Location: 6/10Ambience: 5/10Price: $20 per person

We opted for the Tasting Box and the Pork Belly Ramen. The tasting box consisted of five steam buns, each one a different flavour and three fried dumplings, also different flavours. These came to our table just after 3 minutes or so. A downside of this however, is that the items arent very fresh i.e. not freshly steamed/fried. This was noticeable as the items were mostly just warm. My favourite bun flavours would have to be the Pork Belly & Chive along with the Pork & Aubergine. The dumplings were unfortunately just quite average. The ramen was definitely not very authentic and lacked a bit of flavour. It was still enjoyable as a meal though if you didnt think of it as ramen. The pork belly was super soft and just melted in your mouth while the Chinese soy eggs were really great too.Friendly service was much appreciated however, I found the food to not be of anything special.

After reading a number of very positive reviews of Mrs Bun and Dumpling we went there for lunch last weekend. The cafe is usually very busy and after trying the food we are not surprised as the food is extremely good. As it provides a good range of the food on offer, we chose the $10.80 Tasting Box (1 of each of the 5 different Bun types and 3 of the dumplings), and the Pork and Cabbage dumplings (10 for $7.80). The buns were lovely, light, and very tasty – special mention for the pork, aubergine and coriander – yum! The accompanying sauces were good, and the chilli oil particularly hot. We will certainly be back to try other options such as the potato burrito and Chinese pancakes. If you like buns and dumplings then you will like Mrs Bun.

Can only be a 5 review, ticked all the boxes! Amazing rich tahini sauce based vegan cold noodle dish, vegan dumplings, fresh red bean paste buns and a cucumber & starch salad. All amazing, highlight being the service and the cold noodle dish. Attentive but not overbearing, informative and caring for first timers. We will be back! Great find in our area.
