Hands down the best sushi I’ve had in Auckland. Whenever I am near Albany, this is where I want to go for a quick fast meal, or even a snack. The prices are very fair and unlike many sushi places, Simple Sushi is very generous with fillings and toppings. It is always so well made, and I absolutely love it!
These guys clearly are not Japanese. They only have 3 types of sushis which are popular but they dont make them till 11:30am. They make you wait at least 20 min for it to be ready. The rest of the sushis are really dry and and unpleasant I had to ask for extra sauce to be able to eat the chicken.
11:15am….when is the special sushi coming out? 11:30am. OK, we will wait……..11:32am…how much longer? We havent made yet, wait 10 minutes. WTF!! You made me wait 25 minutes for this?! No happy!Sushi rice really dry,. Avocado salmon was ok but this was the worse sushi I have tasted.Moral of story, dont buy sushi off non Japanese sushi places.
