Their place is never organized and their staff are always so lost and confused (I barely see anyone working here for long expect the owner).. the portion of soondae and meat in they give you always change and i almost feel like im chated when i order takeaways only becuase they hardly ever give me anything.. when they do give me more on my lucky day it’s still not even close to the amount they give you in the city I recommend the city branch it’s just way better there that’s why I drive all the way there for soondae even when I’m already on the shore..
Its the first time I try Korean pork soup. Recommended by my friend, I tried both signature soup and bone soup. The original pork soup was served unsalted and I added several sauces and spices to flavour it, which was typically Korean style. The soup was good, while the assorted pork in soup tasted oily. It might be a good ideal to have a hot oily soup in a cold winter night but Auckland was not that cold for this soup, I have to eat lot of kimchi to reduce the oily feeling in my mouth. The pork neck bone soup, on the other hand, was nicely flavoured and not that oily. Average ambient and ok service,I rate this place 3.5/5 overall.
