I will 100% be coming back here!! Such friendly and kind staff. We had veggie samosas which were tasty and butter chicken Both generous portions and good prices.
I have been here multiple times since they first opened up. They’ve always been so friendly and always smiling away. I usually only go there for a quick butter chicken top up. There’s always a generous amount of chicken and their naan is made to order! Their naan is the best in Auckland!
Best garlic naan bread Ive had always fresh crunchy, you can see the butter, garlic and chopped greens in it, very hard to find a place where they can actually make a good naan bread.
Loved my curry from here. Awesome cheese and garlic naan bread. Sitting here waiting for it to open. Yum yum. Make me come. . Nah yeah I’ll Def let my mum know about it
The food is always warm and freshly cooked. I especially love the butter chicken with its rich flavors, the chicken tika masala is mildly spicy and is a good pick me up when the weather is a bit gloomy, and my new favourite, garlic chicken, full of good flavours!!! Fluffy jasmine rice and Nan bread compliment the meal very well.
This was one of my regular takeaway places when I was living in Onehunga. The option to have two curries in a combo and/or swap the drink for a naan is really great. Realistically speaking, the quality of the food is really quite nice, better than any other Indian outlet in a mall. We used to order two of those on Friday night, so we have four different curries and four naans and it’s like a small feast. I enjoyed it. I’ve been missing this place ever since we moved away. I visit this restaurant every time I went back to Onehunga and I look forward to my next visit.
I find myself in Royal oak more often than I’d like in a nicest of ways. There’s a store there that sell pandora so ladies need I say more! The thing my followers will note is I am realising RO has some really good cheap eats and again I’ve discovered Sahil is a simple unassuming vendor evidently passionate about serving good cuisine. This guy was like your neighbourhood shopkeeper; he just wants the best for your convenience. I like any kiwi, love butter chicken but this outlet has a rare option of a spicy butter chicken. Silly as it seems most indian food vendors assume our pallates desire mild.Recommend the spicy Butter chicken. Sahil also made me a fresh naan and delivered it to my table. Can’t wait to return and try the lamb rogan josh in medium as its only a matter of time that find myself in RO yet again for reasons of bewilderment 🙁
