Love Cecil Sushi! Large variety available, the owners are always friendly and welcoming. Went in once at the same time as another family and the chef made little nigiri shaped rice balls for the younger children to snack on while the parents were plating up, super cute! Great miso

Very nice and cheap food ! The sushis are big and tasty and the staff is very nice. Great place for lunch by the sea, we really enjoyed that moment.

Staff are exceptionally friendly and the sushi is good for a small business. I recommend their heated range of goods like the chicken skewers, spring rolls and dumplings. I always get given a miso soup and a smile every time I go in. Great to see staff who take pride in their business

Sushi ok, good value, seating area small, could do with abit of a clean and tidy up, seats need a wipe down the staff were friendly but there was a hair in my chicken kebab with a shape and size consistent with that of a human Pubic hair although the staff were pretty quick to take it off me and replace it I didn’t get a chance to get a close up but I did manage to enhance the first photo I took where the hair in question is visible. Other than the Pubic hair incident it was ok.

My favourite place to come for sushi! The staff are always super friendly and welcoming. It is quite expensive per piece but I would say it’s worth it! Would highly recommend.

Sushi is seriously yum, every single one of them. The pieces are really big, but because of that, slightly expensive. Picking your own sushi is good for variation but who knows how long it has been out and whether it has been touched by others.

This must be THE BEST Sushi cafe in Auckland. I have been to this cafe many many times and always come away feeling very satisfied. The selection is overwhelming … roast pumpkin sushi, delicious fresh (cooked) snapper, and many other choices, all delicious. It would be pretty hard to come out of this cafe without feeling satisfied and pleased with the selection. The staff are always so friendly and helpful, which is an added bonus. Go try for yourself. Grab a box and walk across the road to the beach to enjoy. I would highly recommend.
