Visited this place during Easter holiday with a coupe of friends. We had the ocean shared board, it was enough to share with all 4 of us. Mussels were fresh and beautifully seasoned. just wont give a 5 star as the calamari rings were a bit too oily for my taste but everyone else on the table enjoyed it.Service was fast and friendly, good place to chill on a sunny day.
We came here on the weekend for brunch with the mamas and sprogs and found ourselves a nice semi-closed off area. The waitress was friendly and accommodating and the menus seemed to have a great range. The kids meals were a hit, granted our kids eat anything thats beige.Coffees were so-so but thats normal around that area.My mate ordered something that came out on a flimsy piece of lettuce after she was adamant that she was not going to have the Vogel toast that vowed to come out with the dish. But the star dish was really the Broccolini that my vege mate and I ordered. We LOVE anything broccolini, so imagine our surprise and awkward amusement when we saw broccoli that was cut longwise from the stalk up made to look like broccoli surrounded by beetroot that looked like it came out of a can. Presentation was very pretty though so it was an A for effort (especially since carving out such long pieces of broccoli would have been a tedious task), but a Z for fail on the taste and disappointment factor.
