This is a fabulous place to go. It is a little off the beaten ‘waterfront track’, quiet, has great food, prompt and friendly service, and the ‘something extra’ that makes me go back every time I am in Auckland. The something extra is compassion. Recently I was in the cafe with three friends, jdiscussing the loss of someone extremely close to us. We must have been obviously upset. The staff were unobtrusive but quietly brought us a little extra something with the clear message that they understood and sympathised. i think this was over the top service. Really great people, great service, they deserve to do very well.
