Got grabone deal of $75 for 6 courses signiture menu, went for lunch during long weekend. Overall it was an enjoyable experience. However there are few things to take points off.Menu starts off with two cold light dishes through to the 2nd main which is steak with mushroom sauce and potato pavement. This main is kind of on the greasy side already given the sauce and side paired. However it is followed with creme brulee, which tastes like loads of dairy!!!Both my steak and fish fillet are bit chewy but my husband’s servings were done perfectly and he loved them. Their ceviche pieces are cut into long strips instead of little cubes and tasted relatively sweeter than I expected. As to the venison tataki I enjoyed this one the most. It has got cocoa soil drizzled with truffle oil, the aroma of both intertwined when you take each bite of the dish. The premises is located at west haven with great view overlooks harbour bridge. However the decor is kinda of outdated and service is friendly but not that tantative compared to some other fine dining ish places we had been to.

Havent been to this restaurant for a few years. The quality of food remains a very high standard. The ceviche was delightful. Cured venison was rich but not too much. Beef tenderloin was cooked just right. Lovely mix of flavors and the meat were very tender.Excellent service and friendly staff. I am very impressed with the restaurants agility, I initially booked the signature menu without any special requests, but the chef was able to make a last minute change to the entree courses as my friend cannot eat raw meat. Sophisticated dining environment. Resided by the harbour with a view of the North Shore bridge.Highly recommended.Food: 8/10Food presentation: 8/10Service: 10/10Location: 8/10Ambience: 10/10Price $100 per person

Took my girlfriend here for a 6 course dinner. We had one vegetarian and one normal 6 courses dinner. The customer service and deco were top notch and as expected from fine dining restaurant. The food presentation and taste were very good, but lacked a bit of wow factor. This could be personal reference.Customer Service: 9/10 Food: 8/10 Atmosphere: 8/10 Date: February 2019

Free car-parking very close to the front door. You need to climb one flight of stairs to reach the restaurant. The first thing you notice is the Auckland Harbour Bridge in the distance. So if you have a window seat which we were lucky enough to have you can get a beautiful view of the harbour and boats. Its important not to arrive early as they are busy in the morning setting everything up. They open at 12:00 sharp. There is a fully stocked bar so if you are keen to have a few drinks before starting your meal you might like to do so there. We received and appreciated the fine service our Waiter delivered. We had ordered a lunch special that we had seen advertised for $35 pp. The quality of the food was good. However for me personally i felt the portion size was quite small. I will be back to try other items from their menu in the future.
