Have been to this restaurant for quite a few times over the last few months. Very busy place and packed with local Chinese which usually a good sign. Their food have always pretty good. We are looking forward to experience other yummy dishes
Me and my hubby were having a slight late dinner the other night, so just wanted something simple. Think it was Tuesday night and the restaurant was relatively quieter. The waitress was very attentive, patiently went through their cold dish menu with us and gave us a few pretty good recommendations. We enjoyed everything we ordered that night, especially the Xiao Long Baos.
Fairly new restaurant. Came during dinner time. Interior is very clean and tidy. Waitress was very friendly. The food was beautifully presented. However the looks didn’t reflect the taste. Very average food and their rice was dry. It was also pretty expensive as the serving sizes were small for the price. Wouldn’t recommend the food here but the atmosphere is nice.
You could even see how good this dish here on those pictures, chef is really expert, and we came there at a very busy time, however everything was organized well. Then, the taste there with a lot pleasantly surprised, perfect dinner.
Been this nice little restaurant in Meadowland a fre times. Very authentic, reasonably priced and quick – a big plus. This place is popular, book in advance.
A very authentic Chinese (Jiangnan cuisine) restaurant. Their food are quite yum, and reasonable priced like all Chinese food.I particularly like the drunken chinken, it is tender and flavourful; the meat of the chicken is infused with very fragrant chinese wine.
ShangHai cuisine is probably one of my favourite cuisine, it was a shame that they have sold out the soup dumpling (Xiao Long Bao) on the night we visited. First glance of the menu was really attractive as they had quite a few snack dishes we would love to try. The result was.. not so great. The scallion pancake and spring onion noodle were really tasty. Scallion pancake was flaky, spring onion noodle was full of flavour, strongly recommend these. The rice cakes and turnip cakes looked fantastic. But they tasted quite bland (according to hubby, the chef may have forgotten to add salt, it was tasteless). The worst would be the fried beef dumpling. The fillings tasted frozen (?). They were cooked, but its got a taste you get when your food have been in the freezer for too long. Would not recommend this at all. I would rate this place 2.5 (dont have this option) and would come back and try the a-la-carte menu next time.
