This place is amazing on a cold day where you want to warm your body up with some soupy noodles! Their special pork rice noodles and spring onion pancakes are so great The management has changed since I first started going, but the chefs still the same!
Tried the spicy pot newly introduced by restaurant, it was good but a little bit pricey(didn’t check the price for every 100g), still, would go back sometime as it is close to gym i go to
Yunnan style noodle dishes are their specialty. The tastes are very balanced at the mild level. Their cold and spicy chopped chicken appetizer was tender and delicious. The fried noodles are also very good and cooked with right amount of oil. I’d come back.
A pleasant surprise! Came here for dinner the other night and we got the lamb and beef skewers, egg and chives pie, and a combination need noodle soup? (can’t remember what it was called). The pies were pretty good but needed some soy sauce as it was a bit bland. A good choice for a vegetarian though! The highlights to me were definitely those lamb and need skewers which had a lovely cumin and garlic flavour. So yum! We ordered 4 to begin with but ended up ordering 8 more since they’re only $1 each. The noodle soup was pretty good. A bit sour which gave it a nice kick. But it was pretty tasty. It even came with quail eggs which were a nice surprise. Overall, I was quite impressed with the menu selection and the skewers. Definitely coming back to try other things on the menu.
The food here is big in portion and cheap in price. I ordered lamb rice noodles ($10) and lamb skewers ($1/skewer). The rice noodles were really tasty and filling but as with most small Chinese restaurants, the service and decor was average. Go if you’re looking for a cheap and hearty meal but not if you are looking for great service and cleaniness.
They do a Shanghai style of Chinese food similar to Shaolin Kung Fu noodles..I pefere this restaurant to the later. .we ordered pickled fish noodle soup &lamb noodle soup served in a sizzling iron hot pot unique to this place ..big portions too the two soups enough for four of us..the savory pancakes and bbq sewers along with the Chinese beef pie ..tasty here too …just the fragrant oil they put in the soup a bit over powering?..you can request to leave this out of your dish .. or add to your dish if required as they have bottles on the tables a long with chilli oil if you like spicey..the service here is basic…self service chinese tea & water
