my favourite Hong Kong style cafe in the area , Im guessing its family owned , the boss is friendly and service is pretty good. The food never disappoints ( personally) , the rice came out steaming hot , just how I like it . My boyfriend got a spaghetti bolognese and the portions are huge .overall a successful Sunday lunch!
Ming Court is a fairly tidy little eatery. As usually, for trying, I like fried rice noodles with beef & fried rice with chicken & salted fish. Both were OK – at least rice & noodles were not in lumps; taste & appearance were appealing. Dinner menu also looks reasonably encouraging.(Food – 3/5; Service – 3.5/5; Ambience – 3/5)
The food is ok, similar to momo tea or magic tea, but the price is more expensive then most cafe around the block. Had the bake rice and also the sweet and sour pork. The sweet and sour pork cost $24!!!! That’s the most expensive sweet and sour pork I have eaten in the eastern suburb. Most place only charge around $16-18. Most of their dishes are quite expensive relative to the other restaurants around. At this premium price I can go eat at a much fancier restaurant like grand harbour.
Had a few different items to try it out. The fried rice and hor fun was average. The dry wan ton noodles had a fishy powder over the top which made the dish grainy.
HK style restaurant. 100% authentic Cantonese dishes. Delicious baked rice, cakes, coffee, HK style Milk Tea. Had a nice experience with friendly staff and exceptionally good food.
Good old fashion Hong Kong cafe food. The baked rice are my favourite. They have a few cakes on display at the counter that Im keen to try next time.
The milk tea is for sure the best in here. I tried many different style of milk tea but Ming Court’s one surely better than those in HK. Wanton noodle and Eggs with Prawns with fried vermicelli are my two favourites in here.
