Been here a few times. Great place to share meals, food is good , but nothing that really stood out for me. I like the ambience here and I guess I have to come back to try more of their menu….. hoping they extend their menu for more fuller meals as well
This place is sooooo good, such a hidden gem since its not in a central location. Their dishes are all excellent and very friendly staff. Highly recommend their katsu chicken (the best weve had in Auckland, no kidding), grilled dishes (especially mushroom), grilled whole squid and takoyaki balls. Weve been back so many times and its so good every time. They also have BYO option which is a bonus!
Went here for a birthday just before Christmas. They have a big menu containing many Japanese sharing dishes and platters to individual meals, we tried a bit of everything. We got a couple of bento boxes, a fish curry the portions were very generous and we got a few sides including the soft shell crab roll which was very nice. The staff were very nice but perhaps a little difficult to get their attention despite it not being very busy. Its quite a narrow restaurant and although the booths/tables themselves are spacious enough I would not say this restaurants is very elderly or disabled friendly. Other than that very nice food and decent atmosphere.
We love coming here because theres a huge variety of Japanese food to choose from. They have all kinds of hot pot, seafood, chicken dishes, salad, sushi and fried foods. I recommend the fried chicken and sushi.
Super fast friendly service. We had a variety of dishes really well presented and tasted great. Recommend requesting a big table. Totally enjoyable yummy food and stmosphere
