best fish n chips around the shore. if you want a light and crispy batter on your fresh fish, this is the place to go. i have been their customer for 15+years and their consistency is top notch. i was devastated when i found out that this place was sold by the original owner few years ago, but luckily the original owner had shared the ‘secret’ recipe for the batter for the new owner, so it is still taste the same. i have tried gulf, the so called best fish n chips. it actually underwhelmed me compare to fish n chips from this place. this place also does a very nice fried rice (yang chow fried rice). service is always friendly and their english is very good too.
Service was very good from the guy that was making the food. Very clean and tidy as well. I ordered, ham and egg toastie but the bread wasn’t cooked long enough and was stale. The ham and the egg were very tasty and delicious, not much oil or salt.Also ordered a chicken and egg burger and that was perfect, chicken wasn’t crumbed chicken but yum pieces of chicken which is what I like. The veges were fresh and the egg done great as well. I also got special fried rice to share with family and it fed 4 of us easily. It had lovely bits of chicken, BBQ pork was lean and beef. It was a very lovely meal. I will definitely come back here for Chinese and the chicken burger as it wasn’t over powered by salt and fried rice was packed into the container, definitely worth the money
