Had for the first time a couple of nights ago. Chips were yum. Hotdog was amazing! Great value. But the fish batter was undercooked. Had a doughy taste. Could have done with more time in the fryer.
i have had a very high expectations when i came to this place after reading all the reviews. like everyone mentioned, finding a good fish n chips place who serves fresh fish and fresh crispy chips is not easy. after trying, unfortunately it felt short compare to my favorite place, good horse takeaways, just down the road from this place. i felt the batter on the fish is the let down, everything else perfect. i like the batter on the fish to be light and crispy right through and unfortunately their batter is not quite crispy right through (mostly on the outside). their hawaiian burger is nice, love the beetroots. the chips are nice fresh n crispy. customer service is also good. i might come back to this place to try everything else but for fish n chips i will stick to my fave place.
