Been here once and got a mince and cheese pie and a chocolate chip cookie. The pie tasted very average and wasn’t crispy. The cookie which I thought would be soft and chewy, was very hard and my teeth hurt to eat it. They didn’t even have a croissant or pain au chocolate which I was disappointed at, as even the bakery section of countdown which is right next to this bakery has them. I’d rather go to countdown for bread and baked desserts.
I’ve been on the wicked chocolate crackle hunt (seriously, if you know of anywhere that sells them on the Shore – let me know!). I just tried calling this bakery and the lady who answered barely understood what I was saying, before simply hanging up on me when I was in mid-sentence. Safe to say we won’t be calling into this bakery anytime soon.

Pretty good typical kiwi bakery. Stuff is always fresh. I don’t know why reviews HAVE TO BE 140 characters, sometimes a short and sweet review is all you need.
