Have lowered my rating to 1. The kebabs usually taste good. BUT…When you order over the phone, they tell you it will be ready in 10, 15 or 20 min, but guaranteed, when you arrive (even if you are late), they have not even started your order. It seems they wait till you arrive and pay before they begin. So it kind of defeats the entire purpose of phone orders. Tonight, to add insult to injury:1 – they gave half servings instead of the usual size2 – there were hairs in TWO different dishes. Very disappointed

Awesome Kebabs and chicken samosa , little slow service and the food may get delayed if there are many people waiting in front of you. But will go again for sure to try their other items.
Straight up this place is AMAZING!!! Been getting the mix HSP and it tastes fantastic. Customer Service is on point and the staff actually put the effort in to get to know you more so that your visit is memorable. Highly recommended. Mamaris Kebabs is by far the most legit place in West Auckland maybe even the WHOLE of Auckland for HSP!
Really yum kebabs and rice dishes that are great value for money. We first tried it when they first opened and didn’t like it at all but since trying it again recently we’ve been back 3 times! Chicken and chips are also yum but very salty.
Came here soon after it opened awhile ago. It was near closing time so there wasn’t much food on offer. There was only meat on chips, so we just got that. It was average, not bad but not great. UPDATE:Have since been back and had the same meal. It is better, the chips were slightly overcooked but still a filling meal. Also available are curry, samosa and a chicken and chips meal.
You need to try their fried chicken. While the skin can sometimes be overly salty for my taste, the chicken is juicy and flavoursome and definitely gives That Other Fried Chicken Place a run for its money. The chips, seasoned with chicken salt, are crisp and moreish. Haven’t got around to trying the kebabs yet, because WOW, THAT CHICKEN…This is a shiny new place with an A food certificate. Welcome to Swanson!
