I visit this cafe a lot and have read all these reviews. They are all pretty accurate. Problem is when staff change, consistency and quality changes. In this area the staff need better training.I have always found the coffee and food of a very high standard. Derek would the best for service and quality. The very best drinks are when Derek makes them. If you want excellence, ask for Derek.
My friend adored the French Toast. As a local, I go regularly and have the Corn Fritters. They are delicious but recently I have noticed they are half the thickness. Please make them thick like they used to be. Thank you.
All a bit dry. After a long wait , I received my bacon and eggs on toast..the eggs were over cooked, so not nice and runny for my rock hard toast. Needed a jack hammer to cut it and not enough butter to moisten it. Wouldn’t order it again
Noticed that they now have an A grade. Must have either new owners since I last went there or new staff. Service has improved. The smoked salmon pasta was delicious!! The kids meals are expensive for what you get though.
Derek makes the most AMAZING mochas. Staff are so friendly I love them all, they know me by name and really make an effort and give me cute little surprises. The food is 10/10 and their sweets in the cabinet are out of this world! Highly recommend:)
Quite good coffee, always packed. Service can be hit and miss. The food is ok. Good enough for a hangover breaky! Nice to sit on the deck and soak up some rays.
One of the best hot chocolates I’ve ever tried! But the kitchen was closed when we got there which was around 1-2ish so had to try something that was in the cabinets so tried the chicken filo which was $9 which wasn’t worth it because it tasted like I was eating vomit so barely even ate half of it. Was a waste of my money! Don’t know why anyone would even buy it, my friend who was with me even agreed. Will go back there again but only for the hot chocolate
