I am not even in Waitakere anymore, and I still claim this to be the best takeaway I have ever been to. Burgers are more than sufficiently greasy and delicious, full of good sized ingredients, yummy thick patties. Deep fried mussels are beautifully steamy inside, full of soft mussel goodness. Milkshakes are thick and creamy, and well flavoured. Everything was perfect for me at least! If you like a good greasy fatty and tasty meal, this one will leave you extremely satisfied.Personal favourites: Works burger is INCREDIBLE. Full of veges and nice slabs of pineapple and patty, nice big piece of chewy bacon. Corn fritters are amazing. They have a good amount of batter but this seems to go well with the consistency, no detraction at all from the experience!Last time I was there the shop was owned by a lovely humble Asian couple, but dunno what eggheads have taken over now. They worked so hard and made amazing food, all whilst giving lovely, quiet humble and friendly service.
