Ordered the ramen here and was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. The portion size was generous and it had lots of toppings.The Ramen broth was rich and flavoursome and the ramen noodles had a lovely texture.
Incredible coffee (almond flat white as pictured), delicious food and great service. Great spot for lunch or even a quick coffee break, but time it right cause parking isn’t always easy. Highly would recommend Blind Basket
Blind Basket is a beautifully decorated cafe in an industrial area. I was fortunate enough to get to park in the two parking spots outside of the cafe. However, no stress people. There is plenty of on-street parking if you have the patience to drive along Barrys Point. They have plenty of seating inside that is suitable for a catch-up with a friend or if you want to have some quiet-time to yourself.They serve Allpress coffee which is a favourite of mine. However my coffee was burnt which was a let-down. I appreciated the fusion of Asian cuisine in their menu. I ordered their Fitness Bowl. The service was super quick. I received my food within 5-10mins of ordering. I added tea-smoked salmon to my dish for a couple of dollars. I felt that the salmon left a metallic after-taste in my mouth that was really hard to get rid of though. Eggs were poached nicely. The greens were fresh. In comparison to the other dishes I have had at other cafes though, Blind Baskets dish was average.Ive rated my experience at Blind Basket three stars. One of the reasons as to why I have done so, is because I messaged them through Facebook trying to get a look at their menu but I had no reply. It has been almost a week and I still havent received a reply. Ive tried looking everywhere online for the menu but cannot access one. Usually, I would be able to describe what the dish includes with the help of the menu. However, with the Fitness Bowl I couldnt.Overall, good little spot. Different type of menu. Thank you for serving me. I hope within some time you will be able to put up a menu of your variety online. Other than that, theres another cafe on Urban Lists finest crossed off. 6 down, 50 cafes to go!!!
