We came on the day that they did a one-off collaboration with Peachs Hot Chicken. There was about a 15-20 minute queue and wait, but it was definitely worth it.The chicken was light, crispy and not weighed down with oil, with plenty of flavour on the skin. The fries paired really well with the chicken and I loved seeing the staff slice up the potatoes right in front of us, proving just how fresh they really were. The fries were doused with a creamy cheese sauce which was delicious. Overall, a great meal and the staff seemed well-prepared for a busy day.

I have been walking past here so often and finally decided to give it a go after craving for some fries! Deliciously golden and crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, topped with your choice of sauces. If youre wanting good fries, come along here to give it a go! Small menu, so youre only really here for the fries. It would be interesting to see if they expanded the menu to maybe more potato dishes, otherwise when the craving strikes thats the only time Ill be back
Everybody loves fries, but double Dutch fries has taken it to a whole new level. Thick cut fresh potatoes deep fried to perfection and then topped with a generous helping of sauce! Satay, Dutch mayo (definitely recommend) and tomato. We had them at our work today and they were a hit among the crowds great service and a must try if your ever in Takapuna.
Been having the fries both at UoA on Thursdays and back when they were on Elliot Street and it never disappointed!When they opened in Takapuna I had to come try the stroopwafels! Definitely will come earlier in the day so I can get fresh stroopwafels and try all the flavours!
