Absolutely delicious! The food is always fresh and of the highest quality – their salmon sushi are amazing. Perhaps more importantly, the staff are absolutely wonderful. It’s plain to see that they care a lot about making their customers happy!
Super delicious food with heaps of vegetarian options- both with sushi and the cooked options. The food comes out so quickly, the portion sizes are decent, and the staff are a delight!
This is my favorite sushi shop. I travel around a lot for work I’d say I frequent over 50 different sushi shops throughout the year and hands down Sushi house and Donburi are the best, they are simply top notch. Wonderful customer service and delicious sushi rolls. There’s always a wide variety of sushi to choose from and If they are out of your favorite they’re happy to make up a fresh batch on the spot. There’s a great range for vegetarians/vegans btw.
Ate here today and had a very pleasant experience! Christina(?) was very friendly and accomodating, other customers that came there while I was eating my sushi (mostly mums with their kids) seem to get along with her so well. Overall, I cannot fault the service and ambience of this place. The only thing that I would pick on is the price since I’m used to buying sushi for only a dollar. Anyway, it’s Takapuna so what do you expect, lol. Keep up the great service and yummy food!
Our family visits this place regularly for lunch and dinner. Staff are amazing so friendly and kind. The food is prepared quickly and it is reasonably priced. Tables are clean and atmosphere is bright. I recommend to Pork Katsu Curry.

I go to this place all the time, the sushi tastes a lot fresher than other places and they have a good selection. The staff are very friendly and always greet me. They also make good donburis and bentos without having to wait too long and prices are reasonable too. Very clean and nice place.
