Food is great!! Strongly recommend the noodle soup, but everything here tastes really nice. Generous portions served along with side dishes. Staff are friendly too but a star was removed because the hygiene wasn’t perfect as I had a red pepper flake on my bowl to share.

This is one of my go to Korean restaurants.Staff are always friendly and happy to discuss dishes and meal choices. The inside is clean and kept tidy. There can be a rush during lunch and dinner so make sure to get in early! My usual orders are the Mul Naengmyun (Buckwheat Cold Noodle Soup) and their Dakgangjeon (Sweet and Spicy Crispy Chicken) which have been consistently delicious. Special mentions to the Yukhoe (Korean-style Beef Tartare) which was a novelty to me, but definitely tasty and worth a try and most o the Hot Pot dishes which are always a treat to share between friends. Prices are quite good as the serving sizes are generous and the side dishes are well made.Parking is available in the main Takapuna car park.
Food: 3/5The Jeyuk Bokkeum was a bit dry and the pieces of meat were quite big. Still delicious though and a nice portion size. The Bossam was a large serving and was delicious. They also brought over extra lettuce leaves when we ran out. The soup that came with the Bossam was dreamy. Side dishes were okay (cucumbers, zucchini, kimchi and bean sprouts).Service: 5/5Service was immaculate. The man who served us was very friendly. He also checked on us to make sure we weren’t cold throughout the night.
Busy place during dinner time so better to make a booking. Though they are open all day without breakers that’s when I go from now . It’s very simple interior nothing fancy at all but very clean! Easy parking outside. Food is simply delish and reasonably priced. Service is very good there – efficient and polite. Generous portions and good quality ingredients. Stir-fried squid was super teder and spicy , i cannot remember when the last time i had Korean squid like that. Seafood Noodle Soup was loved by my daughter, i enjoyed bulgogi- not too sweet with good favour, stir fried pork ( jeyuk bokkeum) was spicy enough and not fatty at all! My favourite dish was Yukhoe Bibimbab – relatevly rear to find in Korean restaurants these days, well in NZ it was my the first time. Its marinated raw beef, like steak tartar but comes on ric and vegetables accompany with spicy sauce to your liking. Side dishes wetr refilled with no additional cost, unlike as many other places in CBD. My daughter was given a soft drink for free which is very generous of them. On top of it – coffee there is for free as well. I love Korean food and I would say it’s one of my favourite Korean places I ve been. Do reccomend.
Very busy here, my family (of four) went in for lunch and we just managed to get a table here. Reasonaly priced and has the right Korean flavour. The ox tail soup had generous portions of meat with deep flavor of the bone and my dad enjoyed it. We also got the Pork with Kimchi, at only $20.00 (which comes out with a few side dishes, soup and veges) and the meat is so soft and delicious and goes really well with the Kimchi that is served as a side. The cold buckwheat noodles with spicy sauce was average, a bit too sweet for me.
