Several times I have asked for no onions in my burger and there has been, they even wrote ‘no onions’ on the packaging of the burger the last time, only to find what seemed like extra onions. They told me they were going to ‘reheat my chips’ only to have them re-fry them, tasted extra oily and burnt. Definitely not the same any more
Disappointing food. Kebab had no flavour chips were ok. Would be great if the food had more zeal and flavour to it. Prices were good for the portion but overall wont be returning here.
Bought rice & lamb falafel, it was disgusting, lamb tasted like it had been sitting uncovered for days, oil had separated from the hummus. I was so hungry I ate but later go the runs!! Never again
What a disappointing experience. My friend and I ordered sweet corn toasties requesting NO cheese due to allergies, among other things. We were given toasties with cheese so returned them politely. We were then given a cheese toasty and a sweet corn toasty with cheese. The staff then rolled their eyes at us and proceeded to tell us that we ordered cheese toasties. Why would we do that when we have allergies?? Extremely rude and disrespectful. Do not recommend and will not return.
The standards of this place have definitely dropped over the years. This used to be the local for reasonably priced hot chips. I ordered chips tonight that were nothing short of tasteless and over priced for what I received. They were soggy, warm and had uncooked patches throughout the batch. If you want to get back this reputation you once had, I would start by cooking food to a higher standard.
Hadn’t been here for years until the other day. I remember it being better. Really unfriendly staff. Food was ok got burgers. Chips were pricey for the size.
It has definitely lost its touch, the food now is below average, chips were warm not cooked properly, scallops were burnt & small, ham & cheese toasted sandwich wasn’t even toasted, yokum burgers were below average in taste and quality. If you want a good yokum drive to lil’ abners papatoetoe. Kebabs are not worth the price with crap ingredients. Years ago this was the place to go out west for a hearty burger and good fries etc, now don’t waste your time or your money, eat elsewhere. My stomach is paying the price for eating here lesson learnt I will not be back.
