Cute new cafe in Te Atatu with great food and great service. Yes, as previous reviews have stated, the wait staff are young, but on both occasions Ive visited, theyve been nothing but accomodating and polite. The cabinet food looks amazing, as well as the cookie and milk options! But the French toast… Im used to seeing macadamia crusted brioche French toast and dont get me wrong, I love that kind of thing, but sometimes you just want a simple egg French toast like the stuff you used to make at home when you were learning how to cook. Simple, yet a delicious dish and theyve got it right here at The Sugar Grill. Topped with maple syrup, fresh berries and a side of vanilla bean ice cream! The portion size will have you waddling out the door. But not before you pick up a fresh jam and cream donut on the way out!

I cant say enough good things about this place. The food, service and atmosphere are all fantastic. I had a mocha and the french toast, and both tasted amazing. They also have a cabinet full of beautiful treats which I will have to try another time.
