Sweet and sour is the only food I buy here and it us the best in the west. I live in Whangarei now and when we come down we always but our Chinese food here. Love it
Had the lunch combo C, 2 fish, 3 crabsticks, 3 potato fritters and chips. well cooked, nice batter, good fish, chips nice and golden colour, friendly service, tidy clean shop, good prices. Everything you’d want from a fish’n’chips shop. Will have to try the other dishes next time
We have the Steak Fried Rice and the Curry Sauce regularly. In fact, that combo is only on the menu at all because we asked for it specifically so often. You’re welcome.10/5.
Good fish and chips. We travel to get ours from here. We have not tried the Chinese selection. It’s always busy so I guess others like it too
Recently moved into the area and tried a couple of fish and chips shop in the area and this one is the best. The fish is fresh and the batter not to greasy. The chips are cooked perfectly. Been here 3 times now and not been disappointed.
So glad this is my local fish and chip takeaway. Great battered fish and the chips are never soggy. If you are after fish and chips to feed your family, don’t fall for the lunch or dinner packs unless you actually want to buy everything that is in them. As much as I enjoy pineapple fritters, I’ve since realised it’s cheaper to buy fish/chips/fritter etc separately rather than ordering a lunch pack with the extra things I don’t want.
