Th only good thing about this bakery is the pies and that’s if tour willimgntonspend almost $5 on a pie I used to love this bakery especially the caramel slice but the biscuit layer is so thick and the caramel is almost non existent I very rarely visit now
It’s a nice bakery, known for its vegetarian flavour pie. Many people don’t really dig those sort of flavours, but I do. Despite being a meat eater and all, this is by far my favourite pie
This place is pretty good, amd always busy. My favourites on the menu are Potato top pie, either of the quiches, date and ginger loaf, custard pie, and the sandwiches. The custard twist is next on my list of things to try… Recommended, stop in for a cheap and tasty bite to eat.
This place used to have a great reputation, and queue’s out on the footpath on weekends. Alas no more. Since it was sold some years ago the quality has fallen off, and the nice friendly staff have all disappeared. Just a local sandwich and pie shop now.
Great local bakery. Their best pie would have to be the smoked fish with potato topping. I don’t usually like sausage rolls but these ones are great (yum – is that cheese I see inside one?!) Would also recommend their crunchy baguettes as an accompaniment to any homemade soup or stew.
