I really rate this place for a decent sized and very tasty breakfast. Hubby and I shared the chefs special Smoked salmon scrambled eggs on a croissant with a side of cream cheese, and smears of balsamic on the plate with basil leaves. It was delicious and very well presented! Compliments to the chef! Although it was supposed to come with avocado the very friendly staff advised the kitchen had run out and would it be ok if they compensated with lots of extra smoked salmon?! -yum! It was more than reasonable at $12.50.My trim flat white was perfect (better than my usual – a trendy place in Newmarket) and came with a yummy little chocolate chip biscuit. Which was a nice touch and much appreciated. We will be back. But next time I’m not sharing 😉
Go here every morning and get some lunch and breakfast.Food is always good and fresh, and have enjoyed everything I have bought.Love the macadamia nut slice, Staff are friendly, always say hello as myself and other customers walkin, regardless of if they are out the front or not, they make an effort to be friendly.Been going for a while now, and will keep going, nothing not to like
I went here yesterday with my partner for lunch, it was a Sunday afternoon so it was sorta (mainly coffee orders) busy.I ordered the lasagna with side salad and a plate or fries, my partner ordered the chicken burger and fries. It took 25 mins to get my lasagna and salad (which i might add only needed to be microwaved) so I assumed they were waiting for every thing to be done at the same time to bring it out together..no. I got mine first 10 mins later i got my fries then 10 mins after that my partner got his.We weren’t pleased by this.As for the food its self, the lasagna was bland no flavor at all and the chicken burger was soggy and had things on it that were not described in the menu, my partner said it was yuck! Over all very sad lunch. We won’t be going back here again for a meal.but the atmosphere was nice the staff were friendly and i would try a coffee and something to eat out of the cabinet that looked alright but as for the kitchen menu, i advise stay clear.
Go here everytime I’m in Onehunga awesome food, awesome coffee best best soy chai you can get, great service and really relaxed friendly atmosphere. Love the two menu options one if your trying to watch your weight and your other standard menu. The cabinet food looks fresh and does’nt look like it’s been sitting there for a week and replated lol. My partner and I love this place.
I buy coffee and lunch here EVERY day! The staff are gorgeous and the food is divine! I highly recommend the roast lamb sandwich on pumpkin sourdough bread which they make themselves, actually I highly recommend everything! The salads are delicious and change daily and they offer a wide range of low fat choices. All good value for money/generous serves.
Popped in here after walking up and down Church street for a while, looking for a decent-looking cafe, and this place was perfect. The guy that served us was incredible friendly and outgoing, asking how we are, etc. We ordered two lattes and had a look at all the yummy treats they had. A majority of their food products were low fat, gluten free and healthy which is important. We ended up choosing the German Poppy Seed Cake, which we were very intrigued about. The same guy noted it was a good choice as that’s one of his favourites. Got our coffees and cake almost immediately! The coffee was just over average – we both found they were not hot enough, which is a turn off ):However, the Poppy seed cake was unusually delicious (if that even makes sense) and it had a really great texture to it. It was a thin layer of short pastry on the bottom, a thick layer of some custard and poppy seed creamy mixture, then topped with crumble. Anyway, I definitely recommend coming here, particularly for the delicious treats they have!
