Go here sometimes if we want a quick takeaway and have exhausted other options. Best thing about it is the chips, nicely cooked and reasonable portions, the burgers are OK we take home and add a few extras. Fish is a bit greasy and more batter than fish, overall alright if we can’t be bothered with anything else – quick and cheap.
Ordered Fish & Chips, they were OK, just average. The chips were fine, the fish was slightly over cooked but the batter was still soft in some parts and sticking to the fish, it felt a bit starchy in the mouth. But the pieces were a good size. The whole order was served on a plate which was put into a paper bag, which is a bit unusual for fish and chips. But they dont only sell fish and chips so i guess its not really their speciality. Would recommend elsewhere for great fish and chips, Sandringham and Mt Eden have good spots. Decent cheap feed though, I guess it’s worth it’s price if you’re not too fussy.

Ordered 2 fish ($3.50 each) and one batch of chips ($3). The portion of the chips was decent and as expected from a fish and chips shop, however they were heavily salted and many pieces were oiled up and burnt. The fish itself tasted good but for a $3.50 battered piece of fish I’d expect more than 50 grams of food. Each fish was roughly the size of a desktop mouse and had extra batter to make it seem more than it was.1.5/5, would only visit if starving or gun against my head
