She told me this cute lil shop. Ill definitely buy from them. My very picky eater daughter absolutely loves the apple pie. Thank you so much!
I had just finished work and wanted some pie, so I looked up the closest pie eateries in Epsom and was lead to this little block of shops.The Piery is a cute little store in the middle of Buckley Rd, it’s looks humble and vintage with an old school decor. I ordered a slice of the custard pie and a boysenberry tart which totaled to only $3.10!!!I went to pay in eftpos but they only had cash, but the man on the till was so sweet because I didn’t have enough coins he let me pay much as I could even though I was 10cents short. I haven’t had this type of customer service in a long time. I would never be able to go to a popular cafe and purchase a slice when I’m short by a couple of cents. The custard slice was delicious with a light dusting of cinnamon, the custard was just set and is freshly made, not instant which you find at most bakeries. And the pastry was short and just the right amount of sweetness, the only let down was that they used vanilla essence instead of extract which you could taste. The boysenberry tart had a delicious filling which was tart and bright. But the pastry was a bit too thick, so you got more pastry than filling with every mouthful. The value at The Piery, and the service is amazing! I will come here again and try the meat pies next time.
