Great food with good service! We ordered 6 dishes and all were delicious. Good prices and rice included in meals. Most Thai restaurants charge extra for rice. Will definitely be back.
Great food, really tasty and lovely atmosphere and beautiful decor. Friendly, helpful staff who couldn’t do enough for us. Will definitely return.
Tried out their lunch menu special, $13 main or $15 main plus entree. We ordered the set menu $15 each.Entree comes with a skwer of chicken satay, sring roll, fish cake and a fish caked bread and a curry puff. Its ok, nothing rave about that but def value for money.I had a Pad Thai and it is ok. A bit oily to my liking but not complaining.I would definitely come back again.
This is NO LONGER a hidden gem WE think it may have changed handsNot sure what is going onWe have decided never to returnThe food was OK The staff left a little to be desiredIts a shame because this was the place to go
Staff were friendly, the service was great, ambience was fantastic. Loved it all until the food came out.Hubby had the Prik Khing Ped (stir fried duck with chilli, ginger, garlic and vegetables with oyster sauce). The duck was over cooked and for a dish that was meant to be medium spicy wasnt very spicy at all. He describbed it as edible, not the worst but not the best. I had the Khao Pad Jae (stir fried jasmine rice, vegetables and fried tofu topped with spring onion). This was incredibly bland. The only flavours coming out were the flavours when i ate the pieces of veges, which were few and far between. It was edible but i would have liked to have seen some more flavour to this dish. My kids had the Chao Phraya Kid Set (Gai satay with peanut sauce, fish & chips and jasmine rice). First off there was only one item on the kids menu. Maybe a few more options that are kid friendly would be a good idea? I was so disappointed when seeing the kids food come out. Mac donalds looking fries, 3 fish sticks, a mountain of rice and two small gai satay chicken kebabs. The fish sticks were the most dissapointing thing to see. Who serves fish sticks at a restaurant!? The mountain of plain jasmine rice had no purpose besides being a plate filler. The best thing on the plate was the gai satay, amazing flavour. I honestly had high hopes for Chao Phraya, but was let down by the food. I may give them another go in the future but would be leaving the kids with a baby sitter and trying something else on the menu in the hopes that it will have a better flavour.
Love this restaurant, food is yum, staff are very nice and the ambience is amazing. Only thing is the price is a bit hefty! Other than that would definitely recommend
Got takeaway from here on Friday night and ended up with food poisoning that’s been going on 4 days now and ended up in A&E. Not a nice experience at all!
