Myung-Ga has good value combos, we ordered the $39.00 combo which comes out with a large Pork Katsu and two choices of either spicy buckwheat noodles and/or buckwheat noodles with cold soup. We got one of each of the noodles. The pork katsu was nice, I enjoyed the sauce as it wasnt too sweet and had a unique taste to it, and it didnt make the katsu too soggy. For the noodles, I tried a bit of both spicy and the cold soup options, but my preference was the Buckwheat noodles with cold soup as you can taste the flavour a bit more. My friends got the Galbi tang (soup with beef short ribs with rice $17) and Yukgaejang (spicy soup with beef & vegetables, with rice $17). I tried a bit of theirs as well because Im a pig but I preferred the Galbi tang, it definitely has a deeper flavour of the meat whereas Yukgaejang was a bit bland and watery. All our meals came out in massive portions. The place itself is spacious and clean, with prompt service when you press on the electronic bells on each table. They also do Korean bbq as well, it smelt so good. Seems like a popular place for dinner for North shore residents!
