It’s a newly opened pizza place (or maybe I haven’t noticed it before).Located near the lotus shopping centre this place has great potential to grow. Me and my partner ordered a farm village pizza and it was tasting good.I did not feel very bloated and it looked like the toppings and the cheese was very fresh. Will I come back here? – Yes
Worst pizza I’ve had in a while. We ordered (delivery) a margarita and a pepperoni, both on crispy bases. Firstly the margarita came on a thick doughy base, had minimal tomato, and had dried herbs instead of fresh. The pepperoni did at least come on a crispy base, but it was chewy, and didn’t contain much pepperoni. The Shrimp Alfredo Pasta we ordered was tasty though. Maybe we caught them on a bad day.
Cool new set up inside the Lotus Supermarket complex. Great location for a halal pizza & pasta place. The food has Indian twists which stood out for me. At $6 for a regular size pizza, it is great value and a nice change from the larger standard takeaway chains available in Auckland. I enjoyed the ability to choose which sauce to dress my pizza for no extra charge – aioli is one of the options, which is great because who doesn’t love aioli. I appreciated the deco – very new and lots of booths available for sitting. Buttons on the tables allow you to call a waiter-to-table over promptly. There are a lot of nice things to note about this restaurant. The only bad thing I can say, which is a major, is that I became very ill a couple hours after eating at this complex. I consumed two things; the chicken pizza and some traditional Indian sweets from Royal Sweets next door. As always it’s difficult to pin the cause of food poisoning, but it had to be mentioned. Could have been anything from the water, cutlery, or food itself. On my way out I noticed a worker from the supermarket inside the kitchen eating and talking with the kitchen hand which made me uncomfortable after having just finished a meal there. From a hygiene point of view – kitchens are for cooking, not for eating. Secondly, commercial kitchens are not the place to be for untrained people or non-staff members to hang out. There were plenty of unfilled booths for anyone to spend their breaks in. In all truth, I would be rating this place lower if I was able to prove where I contracted food poisoning from. I wouldn’t ~not~ tell people to go here but I am weary of recommending this place. I sincerely hope that me getting sick was a one-off – because I was ill for a week and it was horrible. I am open minded to a revisit but I will be watching Red Fire Pizza’s reviews very closely from now on.
Went here for the first time not too long ago. Their service is amazing ! They have these buttons on the table so that you can summon them for the bill or to order more food. The pizzas are made fresh and they have a great range of options if you don’t feel like pizza. I like that it’s all made fresh. Great value for money I’m definitely going back
The Mr and I came here last Thursday night with a Grabone deal for x2 appetizers, a pizza, x2 deserts and x2 soft drinks. We struggled to find the restaurant, which is located down a driveway inside the Lotus Supermarket. As we walked into the complex, we still weren’t entirely sureif we were in the right place, but we thought we could smell pizza around the corner and sure enough it was the restaurant we were looking for. We were greeted promptly and shown to our table. I was struck with how bright and cheerful the restaurant was andhow there were no patrons, which is a bit unusual for a Thursday night. I told our waiter that we had trouble finding the place, and that some signage on the street front directing people down the driveway could help, but I’m not too sure if he understood what I was getting at? We ordered squid rings and garlic prawns on toast for our starters, a spicy chicken pizza for our main and a banoffe pie and chocolate gateau for desert. Our waiter told us it would be a 20mins wait and that he’d bring our drinks and appetizers first. The customer service here was really great, at the end of the meal they brought out little feedback forms to ask our opinion on meal value and service. I thought our meals were tasty and theportion sizes were really quite massive. The waiter even had a bit of chuckle at the Mr, when his eyes saw how big the slice of cake was! The pizza was cooked to order and was tasty. I would recommend this place to people with Halal and vegetarian dietary requirements, as I thought the range of vegetarianpizza was quite impressive. Ifthey could improve one thing it would be the desert – everything was covered in chocolate sauce, rainbow sprinkles and chocolate hail, which I didn’t really like. But overall, what a nice little place with great service.
This place is located inside the lotus super market complex. Happened to stop here when I was shopping. Tried the fastest Indian pizza and the Lamblisious pizza. Bought them on a special 2 medium pizzas for $25. The pizzas were good, but I feel it’s still rather expensive. Good and friendly service though.
Nice menu and range in the pizza, pasta section. Good variety in side dishes. Friendly staff. Classic range pizza with fries and soft drink. Unlimited Lunch menu @9.90 Great taste.
