I used to really enjoy this place. The first time I ever walked in they were washing the floors with hot soapy liquid it was good to see. Their bakery side has some nice things including their rolls and their fresh bread is good. The takeaways side is hit and miss good value but the last lot I got from their hot cabinet did not taste nice at all almost off so I have since not returned but I might one day. Coffee is so so but otherwise a cheap and versatile bakery

It’s a decent size and best eaten hot.Other than that there is a wide selection of cakes, pies, sandwiches etc. Many people just go there for the fresh bread.
This is not just a normal bakery/lunch bar but it’s a perfect shop for people who don’t care about fat, sugar, calories haha. They have pies, sweets, sandwiches, chips, fried chicken, simple Chinese food…basically everything you want from lunch bar, they have all. The price is really cheap! The quality is not too bad. You get what you pay. For example in photo here is takeaway (3 choices for $4.50!!) and look how big it was! Prices range for pies is about $2.50 – $3 and dessert is about $1.50 – $3. 2 fried chicken + chips is only $6 (and it’s better than fast food chain 😉 )A great spot in Mt Wellington for quick and cheap food!
My local bakery. It’s always clean and you get served quickly cause they keep heaps of staff on. Most pies are around $3 and the pork buns are nice- the sausage rolls and pizza breads are good too. Haven’t had any dodgy food from here so they’re a good bakery to have close for those lazy Saturdays when you can’t be bothered making lunch.They have a decent drinks cabinet and they do takeaways for fish and chips as well as all the pies, sweets and sandwiches
