service was shit, the small size pork roast was like $11.50 and it came with half a crackle so i got the medium which was like $15 thinking i would get a whole crackle i asked the worker and he still said i would get half a crackle i asked for a whole one and he said no so i cancelled my order and he yelled at me and told me im banned forever, sorry but paying an extra $4 and still not getting a full crackle is so not worth it lol
Absolute crap place. Today i went in to see if this place could redeem themselves from the last time i bought a meal from here because their service was disgusting. I ended up over paying the guy who was making my food by accident and he said i didn’t so i checked my wallet and i was down $20. I then asked him sorry i had given him to much and he tried denying it. I argued with the guy to hand my money back and he just yelled at me in mandarin. All up i ended up paying $42.50 for 2 rolls and a 1.5litre drink. I noticed there was a camera and hoping to go back with police to resolve this matter. I’m absolutely pissed off by this places customer service and sub-pa food. I recommend not to eat from here.
The worst customer service ever. I will never go back there and I will also advise my friends. I was there to roast lamb after work with my 5 year old boy. The person was serving was not happy and I said sorry I will leave when I said that he said yes and never coming back here. I got scary because I have to walk back to my car and pass in front of the shop again. I want to see he shout out a customer like he did to me in front of my 5 year old boy. If I was with my partner This guy got anger issues. Bad/ customer/ service/ you can’t talk to the local people like that. Sorry for your business
WORST service. Even worse food. Asked for a chicken roll, was rudely told they were sold out (that’s fine, I’ll have a sandwich instead). Bread on the sandwich was beyond stale. It was the most basic sandwich. Will never return. Such a shame considering it was $6.50!
Ok so there no doubt this place is fire. BUT almost every time I been lately they been outta rolls which means..No potato rolls. U gotta substitute for a sandwich but sometimes tip top jus not gonna cut it ya know??? Regardless their combo meal always good plan b, MEAN potatoes (make sure u add gravy) and chicken pieces v good and tight flavour. Service not the friendliest lol but I kinda like the no fuk around w small talk like we both know I came here for one thing and one thing only and that is a classic kiwi roast and yup they really deliver
I used to loooove this place. All through school we would come here and get the delicious crispy potatoes. Don’t forget the potato rolls that were an instant hangover cure! Unfortunately the last few times I’ve come here the quality has definitely deteriorated 🙁 particularly this chicken roll I got for lunch today. Maybe an off day but it was awful! Stale bun and grizzly chicken, this has been the case the last few times.
There are times when you need a roast, and usually that falls on a Sunday night when all other options are exhausted, you can’t be bothered, or don’t have time, and you need something fulfilling (and probably healthier than pizza or burgers…). I don’t frequent too many of these places, but this is apparently one of the best and I can certainly agree. It does seem somewhat a production line, but you choose your meat (chicken, pork or lamb) then the container size (small, med, large) and pay. Large chicken for example $19, where else do you get that value, includes roast potatoes, peas, gravy and half a chicken….
