Completely disappointing. Had the eggs benedict with salmon for 18.80 and was definetly not worth the money spent. Two sad English muffins topped with two badly poached eggs and bought hollandaise with an embarrassingly tiny piece of spinach on the side. Wouldn’t come back here again.
FIRST IMPRESSIONS: Don’t judge a book by its cover. Lombardi’s is not the most exciting looking cafe and the name is a tad confusing (it’s not Italian), but the food was extremely tasty! Grab a table outside and take in the views of the open fields. FOOD: I decided to go for the $10 lunch special and had the bacon and egg tart and a coffee. The tart was served with a side salad and topped with a creamy sauce. It was absolutely delicious… The tart was had a lovely smooth, creamy taste which complimented the saltiness of the bacon. Would totally have this again! COFFEE: strong and very smooth. Just how I like it. SERVICE: polite and quick to serve. Even though the cafe lacked ambience or a definitive vibe, the food more than made up for it. If more thought is put into styling the cafe (ditch the name please!) then this could be a place worth venturing out to.
