Got the $10 mussel deal yesterday in the revamped Auckland fish market – this was one of the best deals going down there – loved the white wine sauce it was delicious and the mussels were nice not over cooked or rubbery. Will try the garlic prawns next time. The service was fantastic and I loved how you could just help yourself to condiments, lemon , paper towels etc. highly recommend. Portion size is ok for 1 person – I think 2 or 3 more mussels would be great as they are delicious.
