We consider this as our local, although we don’t visit this venue on a weekly basis, it’s usually the venue we choose as we know that the quality of the service and food is excellent and rarely do they have a consistency issue. As a creature of habit, I usually stick with what I know and will try new dishes once and always reverie back to what I like. The smiles you receive from the Bar Staff and the suggestions on the beer and wine are excellent. Even if there isn’t a dish on the menu due to a menu change, if possible they will still prepare this for you. The Food, quality of service and ambience is excellent. Well done
Was There with a large group for lunch Sunday and even thro the place was quite packed we had excellent service and very yummy food !! best beef burger I think I’ve had. Will Have to go back for a rugby night as the place looks great to eat and then watch a game 🙂
After hearing many good comments about the new owners at Cornerstone Bethlehem, we enjoyed the tasty food, great service & friendly atmosphere. Awesome place to meet up with friends. Would highly recommend.
One star is being generous. Went as a large group in themed costume and was seated at two tables that had been reserved for us. One table OK service and timely meals and left after paying as you would expect. The other table I was at had to wait 2 HOURS for food, was given a pitiful excuse by the waitress that 15 other orders got to the kitchen between the two tables, even though orders were taken at the same time and there were other people in the restaurant who came in and ordered after us who got their meal and left before us. They only recognised a problem when we complained about the wait. When the food finally arrived, half of it was cold, the rest over or under cooked, I had salmon that tasted like water – I could’ve done it better myself (it must’ve been pre-frozen).When it came to sort the bill they blamed us for not telling them the food was late earlier, made us pay for two meals the other table didn’t pay for – which could’ve been sorted by them when the first table paid! And only gave us a $60 discount which equated to ~12%. We only got excuses, no real apology. The worst part was they let us sober up while we waited! We have done this as a group once a year for ten years, and this restaurant is by far THE WORST DINING EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD.
My Partner and I are regular diners. He chose CSB and it was one of the best dining choices ever made. The atmosphere, staff, outfit of the place was reaply nice. For dinner we had the Wild Chicken, the flavours were amazing cooked to perfection, the scotch fillet steak cooked rare and it melted in your mouth. The chef prepared it brilliantly, my partner didn’t even want to share! I had a little food envy but I wouldn’t part with my chicken either. For dessert we shared the passionfruit cheesecake of the day and again we thoroughly enjoyed it. All around positive dining experience at CSB, will be dining here again and recommending this place for sure! 5/5 well impressed CSB
Been here many times but need to review my opinion.Front of staff good, service good. Main meals have the potential to be great, however, the execution sadly lets the place down. Perhaps they are using students instead of a trained chef.Steak over cooked, accompanying roast veges hard as. Lamb overcooked. Jamaican pork crust burnt, inside the meat was dry as, veges hard as. But here is the biggy. Child’s meal cheese burger comprised of un toasted dry bun (not even buttered) with two thin patties and some chips. Thank god for the bottle of tomato sauce. Cost $10 what a total rip. This place has potential get get back to where it used to be but sadly wasn’t when I visited last night.
I’ve heard so many bad stories about this place, and we were really reluctant to try it, but due to a meeting over in Bethlehem we were limited on dinner choices. I am really glad we gave it a go! The staff were awesome – especially the lady who I assume was the bar manager. They were attentative but also left us alone to enjoy our meals. The schnitzel was perfect. Maybe the owners/staff are new, but I really struggled to see what was wrong with this place. Thanks for a great night. I actually made an account for this website just so I could post this!
